Does businesses need to register in order to go on board the Corporate Volunteer Scheme (CVS)?
No registration is required. The IPC and business should agree upfront on the type of services and/or secondment to be provided, duration of services and estimated expenditure. This information would be provided by the business in the CVS Service Giving Declaration Form A. Upon completion of services, it is also the business’ responsibility to update the Declaration Form B with the actual expenditure and seek IPC’s endorsement. The IPC should then submit the completed Declaration Forms A & B to IRAS via myTax Portal.
