Can IPCs conduct fund-raising appeals or make donations for foreign charitable causes?

In accordance to the Charities (Institution of a Public Character) Regulations, the activities of an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) must be exclusively beneficial to the community in Singapore. Hence, an IPC has to conduct activities which are beneficial to the Singapore community.

 

Unless ministerial waiver is granted to IPCs to carry out overseas work
