What is a Sector Administrator (SA)?
A Sector Administrator is a co-regulator that assists the COC to oversee the charities and IPCs in their respective sectors. There are 5 Sector Administrators, as follows:
Ministry of Education – Education
Ministry of Health - Health
Ministry of Social and Family Development – Social and Welfare Services
People’s Association – Community
Sport Singapore – Sports
Charities and IPCs that do not fall neatly under these sectors will come under the direct purview of the Office of the COC. These include charities and IPCs in the Religious, Arts and Heritage, Animal welfare, Environmental protection or improvement and all other sectors. They will report directly to CU on matters relating to charities/IPC status and governance issues.
