Updated by LIFESG The Large Families Scheme builds on existing marriage and parenthood support such as the Baby Bonus Scheme. These are brief differences between the 2 schemes:
Baby Bonus Scheme
- Applicable for all families with Singapore Citizen children up to the age of 12
- Must enrol when you register your child’s birth or directly using the Apply for Baby Bonus form
Large Families Scheme
- Only applicable for families with 3 or more children
- No enrolment required
- Builds on the Baby Bonus Scheme, providing additional support for parents
- The Baby Bonus Scheme’s CDA First Step Grant is enhanced from $5,000 to $10,000 under the Large Families Scheme
- Also provides additional benefits such as the Large Family MediSave Grant and Large Family LifeSG Credits
- Large Families can also enjoy additional privileges and deals from partner merchants Contact us
