Can I use LifeSG to register my child’s birth online?

Yes, as long as your child is born in Singapore and you’re the biological parent. In fact, from 29 May 2022, registrations for all eligible births in Singapore should be done online. If you’re eligible for a Singpass account, you can register your child’s birth on the LifeSG website or mobile app. If you’re not eligible for Singpass (not a Singapore citizen, permanent resident, or FIN holder), you should register your child’s birth on the LifeSG website. Registration costs $18 and you can pay with PayNow, credit or debit card.
