What is the stamp duty applicable if I solely own a private property and wish to transfer this property to my husband who is a Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR)?
Both Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD) and Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) will be payable on the transfer of the property to your husband. Seller's Stamp Duty (SSD) may also be payable if you transfer the property within the holding period.
Stamp duty will be computed based on the purchase price or market value of the property, whichever is higher.
