Do I need to pay stamp duty if I receive a property by way of gift?
Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD) and Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) (if applicable) is payable when there is a transfer of interest in a property.
Stamp duty will be computed based on the market value of the property where there is no consideration.
