For Singapore Citizens purchasing an HDB flat (including a resale flat) or a New EC, ABSD is remitted. More information is available under "Acquisition of HDB Flats and New Executive Condominium (EC) Units".
1. Remission is granted automatically upon HDB's approval of the acquisition.
2. Remission is not applicable for Resale EC.
