The IPS Avatars’ traits are aligned to the 21st century competencies and encompass our desired student outcomes at Innova Primary School.

They are:

The Avatars aim to bring out a sense of identity and belonging in our Innovians. Each pupil is assigned to an Avatar in Primary 1 and they work towards representing their avatar teams respectively for various programmes. Examples include: Health Week, Earth Day Environmental Challenge, World Book Day, Maths Games and Innofiesta. These programmes run across levels thus providing an affiliation to all Innovians.

In addition, the use of ‘Avatar language’ in classroom interactions serves as a tool to help pupils acquire social skills in social learning processes.
