What is a Re-Entry Permit (REP)?
A valid Re-Entry Permit (REP) is needed each time a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) travels abroad. The REP allows a Singapore PR to retain his/ her PR status while he/ she is outside Singapore. If the Singapore PR leaves Singapore or remains overseas without a valid REP, he/ she will lose his/ her Singapore PR status.
