Are my children eligible to use automated lanes after I renewed the Re-Entry Permit (REP) online?
Children between 6 - 15 years old
Children between 6 - 15 years of age who have not registered for Identity Cards but are holding machine-readable passports may choose to register their fingerprints with ICA to use the automated lanes. Your child can approach the manned immigration counters at our checkpoints to enrol his/her thumbprints when departing or entering Singapore. The officer will advise you on the enrolment procedure.
Children aged 15 and above
Children aged 15 and above who are Singapore PRs and have registered for their blue Identity Cards while holding onto machine-readable passports are eligible to use the automated lanes.
