Why is my Re-Entry Permit (REP) application withdrawn?
Your online REP application has been withdrawn due to one of the following reasons:
1) You did not respond to our document request within the stipulated time, or
2) You did not make payment within 14 days from the date of the approval of your application.
If you are outside Singapore without a valid REP, you have to apply for an REP within 180 days from the date you are first physically outside Singapore without a valid REP to retain your PR status.
The REP application is subject to approval on a case-by-case basis. If you had applied for a new REP within the 180-day period, you will remain a PR until there is an outcome to your REP application. If your REP application is unsuccessful, you will lose your PR status the day after the REP application outcome is sent to you.
You will also lose your PR status automatically if you do not apply for a new REP within this 180-day period.
If your REP application is withdrawn and is within the 180-day period, you may wish to submit a fresh REP application for our consideration.
