A Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) will be allowed to stay indefinitely in Singapore if he/ she does not travel out of Singapore.
A Singapore PR who intends to travel out of Singapore will require a valid Re-Entry Permit (REP) covering the entire duration overseas, or he/ she will lose the Singapore PR status. You may log on to ICA e-Service using your Singpass to check on the validity of your REP before travelling out of Singapore.
