Can I authorise another person to collect my/my child’s passport on my behalf?

You must collect your passport in person, be it at SingPost or ICA building.

For your child (aged below 16 at the point of application) and if the collection is at ICA building, you may authorise another person to accompany your child. In addition to the documents listed in the notification card/email, the authorised person would need to bring along his/her IC and the signed authorisation letter by consenting parent, which includes names and IC numbers of both parties as well as name and birth certification number of child.

If the collection is at SingPost, the consenting parent who applied for the child's passport must be present and you cannot authorise another person to collect your child's passport on your behalf.
