How can I obtain a letter to state that I am no longer a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR)?

Eligible* applicants can submit an online request for a verification letter.

Please note:
(i) For existing PRs, no verification letter will be issued. You may produce your Entry Permit and/or valid REP to verify your Singapore PR status.
(ii) Malaysians are not required to obtain a verification letter for the closure of CPF account/withdrawal of CPF funds.

*If you have already lost PR status by remaining outside Singapore without a valid Re-Entry Permit (REP), or previously renounced PR status.

You may surrender your cancelled Singapore Blue NRIC to an ICA Officer at ICA Building if you are in Singapore , or a diplomatic/ consular officer at the Singapore Overseas Mission nearest to you if you are overseas.
