How can I change the sponsor for my current Student's Pass?

If a student wishes to change local sponsor whilst continuing with his/her studies, he/she may find a new local sponsor who is a Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) above the age of 21 years old for ICA’s consideration. Companies or organisations are not allowed to act as local sponsors.

To effect the change in local sponsor, the new local sponsor should visit the Student’s Pass eService and select "Local Sponsor" from the Main Menu. 

The new local sponsor is required to login e-Service using his/her SingPass and enter the Student’s Pass FIN, Issue Date, and Expiry Date to sponsor the application. 

The processing time for change of local sponsor is approximately one to two weeks.
