Can I change my local sponsor after I am issued with a valid Student's Pass?

If a Student's Pass holder wishes to change local sponsor whilst continuing his/ her studies, he/ she may find a new local sponsor who is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) above the age of 21 years old. Companies or organisations are not allowed to act as local sponsors.

The new local sponsor has to login to ICA e-Service and refer to the following steps to sponsor the Student’s Pass application:

1. Click on [Local Sponsor]

2. Click on [GOV]

3. Login using the Singpass

4. Enter Student's Pass Application No. and click on [Proceed]

The processing time for change of local sponsor is approximately 1 to 2 weeks.
