Does flavoured milk meet the HMPP guidelines?
Updated by HMPP-HMSP
Flavoured milk is under the subcategory of dairy/creamer-based drinks' in Point 8 of the HMPP guidelines as it contains added sugar. If a full-day service preschool serves 1 serving of flavoured milk, it will contribute 1 out of 2 servings of milk required. However, preschools should not serve any other sweetened beverage for the day. The flavoured milk must be Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS) or HCS-equivalent.
