How can I create a draft question without publishing it?

While we do not have a draft mode, you can achieve the same effect by ensuring the article is private.

  1. Create your question and publish it

  2. After publishing, when you view the question, there will be a toggle that appears. Click on the toggle which will set it to "Archived"

Below is what it will look like when the article is private (i.e. is no longer public)

  3. Alternatively, instead of toggling, you can edit the question and in the Answer Status, you may select the "Private" option.

------

Note: Setting the question to "Private" ensures that only the admins who are logged in to AskGov admin portal can view the question. Members of the public will not be able to see the question.
