You can access the analytics dashboard by clicking on the button "Analytics" located at the top right:

On the analytics dashboard, you will be able to see the following metrics:

  • Users: The number of unique visitors who accessed your AskGov site.

  • Views: The total number of times pages were viewed on AskGov. A single user can generate multiple page views across different sections, such as the homepage, "Ask a Question" page, and FAQ page.

  • Found an answer: A metric that estimates whether users successfully found an answer, based on the number of page views on the FAQ page and the time spent on it.

  • Emails diverted away: A metric that measures the number of users who tried to ask a question but was diverted away and did not submit a question on the "Ask a question" page.

You will also be able to drill down on the qualitative data to see:

  • Top viewed questions

  • Top upvoted and downvoted questions

  • Top search terms

  • User traffic

If you would like to see more data, feel free to reach out to us here.
