GPs can discuss with their enrollees on the selected chronic medications which the enrollee may be suitable for. Similar to the polyclinic setting, patients may not choose a specific brand of medication to be subsidised under the Healthier SG Chronic Tier.
If you prefer a particular brand of medication that is different from the subsidised brand(s) offered by your Healthier SG clinic, you may not be able to utilise the Healthier SG Chronic Tier subsidies. You may tap on the existing CHAS Chronic Tier subsidies or pay for the medication in full.
