You may receive links in gov.sg SMSes. However, links sent via SMS from the gov.sg Sender ID will never ask for any user credentials, or for you to log in directly.

All links sent via the gov.sg SMS Sender ID will contain "gov.sg", "for.edu.sg" or "for.sg" in the URL.

Specifically:

• Websites containing or ending with "gov.sg" in the URL (for example https://www.sms.gov.sg/)

• go.gov.sg shortened links - these short links can only be created by public officers

• for.edu.sg shortened links - these short links can only be created by education officers

• for.sg shortened links - these short links can only be created by healthcare professionals
