I am unsure if my home has a Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) or Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) installed. What should I do?
The RCCB is installed in the distribution board or circuit breaker box. You can identify it by looking for a switch with a ‘Test’ or ‘T’ button which may vary in shape and colour. For reference, please refer to the brochure.
For HDB residents who are unable to locate the RCCB, please contact HDB Branch Service Line at 6225 5432 for assistance. For private homeowners, you can contact a Licensed Electrical Worker via www.go.gov.sg/rccb-lew for assistance.
