Is it a must to use the Apple Pencil in class?

Apple Pencils are most ideal for the following reasons:

  1. Sketchnoting – to encapsulate abstract thoughts and ideas into visual representations and make their thinking visible. This keeps students engaged in classroom learning, continually activates their thought processes and deepens their re-collection of the knowledge learnt.

  2. Pressure Sensitivity – designed to work like a regular pencil, you can hold it at an angle and press the side of the tip alongside the ‌iPad‌ for shading with ease. This is especially useful for subjects such as Design & Technology and Art, where pressure sensitivity will have a direct impact on the product i.e. fine and thick lines in drawing, shading etc.

  3. Intuitive touch – similar writing experience as a traditional pen/pencil. This helps to condition students and familiarizes them for pen-and-paper format exams.
