Key differences include expanded solution categories incorporating AI-enabled technologies and physical solutions/equipment; Baseline Technology Requirements for all operators; introduction of an innovation seed funding for customised/pilot projects; enhanced partnerships with academia, tech providers and industry; and strengthened cybersecurity standards. IDP 2.0 moves beyond foundational digital adoption to support deeper, sector-wide transformation.
