The refreshed IDP (IDP 2.0) adopts a new and comprehensive strategic approach designed to enhance sector-wide digital transformation through the following areas:
a) Baseline Technology Requirements (BTR) to guide sector in optimising preschool operations with digital tools for streamlined administrative processes such as finance management, parent communication, and attendance taking.
b) Adoption of additional digital tools which includes AI-enabled solutions (e.g. AI curriculum planning, portfolio management) and purchase of physical solutions/equipment (e.g. smart cots, interactive boards)
c) Improved Funding Support with up to 50% for operators in implementing solutions
d) New innovation seed funding for customised and/or pilot projects, enabling operators to test new technologies before scaling.
e) Comprehensive support ecosystem with strengthened partnership with academia, tech and industry partners for sector to harness research insights and cross-share best practices.
