Is it possible for my child to learn a Mother Tongue Language not related to our ethnicity?

Yes, children can learn a Mother Tongue Language different from their ethnic background. However, children are encouraged to learn their respective MTLs to better appreciate their cultural heritage, values and identity, and it supports the transition to formal schooling. You may refer to the Preschool Search on the LifeSG mobile app or website to find centres offering various MTLs.
