Who is eligible for the Mother Tongue Language Training Bonus?

Eligible candidates for the $2000 Mother Tongue Language Training Bonus must be Singaporean or Permanent Resident, hold an Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ACECCE) or equivalent, complete the Certificate in Preschool Mother Tongue Language (CPMTL) course, and be assigned to teach a Mother Tongue Language. The CPMTL course hours should not be counted towards the Professional Development Programme (PDP). The National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC) may take about four months to confirm successful completion, after which ECDA will process the bonus within two to three months.
