Manufacturer has done renewal of Manufacturing Cost Statement and received the letter of Acknowledgement which shows XXX for the % content for RVC. What is the % content to be declared in the Certificate of Origin?
For renewal of Manufacturing Cost Statement, the Letter of Acknowledgement will not show the % content as there is no verification of the latest costing by Singapore Customs. Manufacturers will be required to do up the cost statement and obtain the % content of RVC based on the latest costing.
Manufacturers need to comply with the condition by ensuring that the product still meets the prevailing origin criteria, for example RVC 40%. If there is a change of % content based on the latest costing, please declare the new % content in the Certificate of Origin application accordingly.
