Can I bring homemade rice wine into Singapore? How do I make payment for this?
Travelers may bring in home-brewed alcoholic beverages, subject to the payment of duty and Goods and Services Tax (GST). Duty-free concession may be granted on liquor products, except for travellers arriving from Malaysia.
You are advised to use our Customs@SG web application to declare and make tax payment for goods exceeding your duty-free concessions. Alternatively, you may also proceed to our Customs Tax Payment office to declare and pay the taxes.
