Is an import or export permit required for controlled goods importing into or exporting from Singapore under an ATA Carnet?
If the goods you are importing or exporting are controlled items under the purview of Competent Authorities (CAs), you must consult the relevant CAs. If required, obtain an import or export permit via TradeNet before importation or exportation. In such cases, you must present the import or export permit along with the ATA Carnet and the goods for clearance at Customs checkpoints.
