The Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) licence is only valid until the end of a calendar year (e.g. a licence approved on 20 March 2021 will be valid till 31 December 2021).

 

If a licenced company intends to continue with their activity in the next calendar year, the licence must be renewed by the end of the preceding year.
