When should we obtain a Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) licence and could the licence be amended?
You may obtain the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) licence at any time of the year. However, please note that a valid CWC licence is required prior to the commencement of any controlled activities.
The CWC licence application has to be submitted at least 14 working days prior to the commencement of the activities.
The renewal of the CWC licence for the next calendar year has to be made by the end of the preceding year.
You may apply for an amendment to the CWC licence at any time of the year if you have to change any of the following:
Addition of chemical;
Addition of product;
Addition of activity;
Increase maximum aggregate of licensed chemical;
