Is a permit required for the temporary export of pets for purposes such as training or veterinary treatment?
For the temporary export of local pets overseas (i.e. pets which are purchased in Singapore or previously imported into Singapore and GST has been paid), you are required to obtain an OUT (Temporary Export of Goods) or OUT (TCI) permit to account for the exportation of your pets.
For subsequent return of your pets, please obtain the corresponding In-Non-Payment (Re-import of Temporarily Exported Goods) or INP (TCI) permit.

Do note that you are also required to fulfil the requirements of Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board (NParks) prior to the export or re-import of your pets.
For more information, please refer to AVS's website.
