Please be informed that a customs export permit is not required for the export of your hand-carried pet. However, you are required to obtain an AVS pet export licence. Please note that the National Parks Board (NParks) Animal and Veterinary Services (AVS) regulates all importation and exportation of live pets in Singapore. You are required to comply with NParks AVS’ import and export licence and pets quarantine requirement and obtain approval before exporting and re-importing your pet.

Should you wish to bring your pet into Singapore, please write in at https://go.gov.sg/customs-doc and attach the following supporting documents for our assessment of GST relief at least 5 working days before your return to Singapore:

- Copy of your passport and NRIC (front and back)

- AVS import and export licence

- AVS dog licence, vaccination records or purchase invoice

- Arrival and departure flight itinerary

- Bill of Lading, Air WayBill or Delivery Note (if imported as manifested cargo)
