My company is importing goods into Singapore for sale. How should we make payment for the duty and/or GST of such imports?
Your entity may apply for an Inter-Bank GIRO (IBG) with Singapore Customs to make payment for the duty and/or GST directly through the registered bank account.
Please log in to the Application for the Authorisation of Declaring Agent(s) e-Service to authorise your Declaring Agent to use your entity's IBG for your imports using his/her Corppass.
Alternatively, your entity may make payment using your Declaring Agent's IBG.
The preferred IBG account to be used for payment is decided between your entity and your Declaring Agent.
