The courier service provider informed me that my parcel is with Singapore Customs. Can Customs update me on the status of my parcel and collection procedures?

We recommend that you contact the courier service company that is handling your parcel for more information on the status of your courier parcel and/or reasons for delay of clearance or shipping. Singapore Customs is unable to advise you as the shipment and clearance process will be handled by your courier service providers. The tracking number provided to you is also not required by Singapore Customs during the permit declaration of the goods in the parcel.
You may wish to note that certain categories of goods are subject to additional documentary requirements and/or the payment of duty and/or GST, namely:
- Dutiable goods;
- Controlled goods;
- Prohibited goods; and/or
- Goods of a total CIF value exceeding S$400 and does not have an invoice attached to it at the time of arrival.
Should your courier parcel contain any of the above types of goods, you may wish to liaise with your courier service provider handling the clearance of your courier parcel on your behalf to advise you on its clearance requirements and applicable service fees.
