How do I determine if my product is a cooking wine?
Cooking wine that is prepared for culinary purpose will be rendered unsuitable for consumption as beverage, provided that it fulfills the salt or sugar criterion stated in Customs Circular No. 06/2016. The bottle of cooking should bear the label indicating that is for culinary purpose. The salt or sugar content of the cooking wine should also be stated on the label. You may refer to Customs Circular No. 06/2016 for more information.
