I want to import a consignment by sea. They will be kept at the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) prior to re-exporting. What type of permit should I apply?
For goods other than liquors or tobacco products, please obtain an In-Non-Payment permit with declaration type "Storage in Free Trade Zone" (SFZ). As the goods are to be stored in a specific FTZ, the "Place of Storage" field should be declared as the same FTZ. For the subsequent export, an "Out" permit with declaration type "Direct (DRT)" is required.
