I intend to bring in some textile machines for an exhibition in Singapore. What type of permit is required?

For the importation of textile machines for exhibition, an In-Non-Payment permit with declaration type Temporary Import for exhibition (TCS) should be obtained.

Do note that a Banker's Guarantee (BG) is required. If the banker's guarantee is lodged by the declaring agent, the BG indicator has to be = "D".

If the BG is lodged by the importer, the BG indicator has to be = 'I'.

The field "End of exhibition period/End date of temporary import" must be filled.
