I intend to bring in some equipment for repair into Singapore. The repair will take about three months. What permit is required for this import?

For the importation of equipment for repair, the In-Non-Payment permit with declaration type "Temporary Import for Repairs (TCR)" should be obtained.

Do note that a banker's guarantee is required. If the banker's guarantee is lodged by the Declaring Agent, the BG indicator has to be = "D". If the BG is lodged by the importer, the BG indicator has to be = "I".

The field "End of exhibition period/End date of temporary import" must be filled.
