I am working for a pest control company and would like to obtain a license to trap wildlife. What are the progammes that I need to attend?

Animal management companies that would like to carry out the trapping of wildlife will need to attain the relevant Animal Management Certification Programmes modules.


There are 5 modules within the AMIE programmes. Basic module serves as the pre-requisites of intermediate modules (Mammals, Reptiles, Cats and Dogs modules). If your staff need to handle live animals during course of works, they will need to complete Basic module first, followed by the respective intermediate modules.


Different modules cater for specific groups of animals they need to handle.

I would like to understand if the course title "Animal Management Professional Certification Programme (Basic)" would help me to understand how to better handle wildlife animals such as snakes. As often, my security department, part of the CERT members, often be called to attend to found snake at the resort. I would like to know if this course would help my security team to learn how to handle snakes and gain confidence on handling it. Thank you.
