I received a notification stating my Trusted Contact appointment request has expired. What should I do?

Updated by CPF
The notification was sent to inform you that the person you had tried to appoint as your Trusted Contact did not respond to your appointment request within seven days of your submission.

Your appointee must agree to be your Trusted Contact by accepting your appointment request at the “Trusted Contact” section under their Account settings via Singpass login. The Trusted Contact appointment will only take effect once your appointee has accepted the Trusted Contact appointment request.

If you wish to appoint the same person as your Trusted Contact, you should personally inform them before resubmitting your appointment request, so that they can respond promptly. You will receive a notification when your appointee accepts the Trusted Contact appointment request to be your Trusted Contact.

Alternatively, you may consider choosing a different person to appoint as your Trusted Contact.
