Will my Trusted Contact(s) be held accountable if they fail to notify me about the unusual or unexpected transactions in my CPF account?
Although your Trusted Contact(s) will receive a copy of your CPF transaction notifications, they cannot be held accountable if they do not alert you to unusual or unexpected activities. You remain responsible for all activities which take place through the use of your Singpass, and for managing your CPF account.
Apart from appointing a Trusted Contact, the CPF Board strongly encourages you to update your contact details so that you can be notified when transactions occur in your CPF account. You can also download CPF Mobile on your mobile device and turn on push notifications to receive alerts on transactions performed in your CPF account.
