I am currently paying outstanding MediShield Life and/or CareShield Life premiums through monthly GIRO instalments. Can I continue this arrangement to pay my future premiums?

If you have set up GIRO for healthcare renewal premiums, your MediShield Life/ CareShield Life/ ElderShield renewal premiums shall be deducted from your GIRO bank account every year.

In the event of unsuccessful GIRO/ MediSave deduction for your renewal premiums, and you have an ongoing monthly GIRO arrangement, the renewal premiums will be included in your monthly GIRO payment plan.

Monthly GIRO instalment is only for payment of outstanding premiums (excluding renewal premiums). If your monthly payment arrangement has ended, you can request a new monthly instalment arrangement by writing to us at cpf.gov.sg/writetous.

If you have terminated your previous GIRO arrangement with the bank, you may re-apply by clicking on "Setting up GIRO arrangement".
