The Health Insurance Planner (HIP) is an online tool that helps you make informed decisions about your health insurance coverage in about 15 minutes. Through a four-step process, HIP will allow you to:

1. have personalised projections of your long-term MediSave savings and health insurance premiums;
2. compare benefits, features, and premiums across Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) for your preferred ward type; and
3. have long-term premium projections for your selected IP and its rider. 

These features provide you with a consolidated view to better review and plan your healthcare coverage. 

To use the HIP, members will need to prepare the name of their IP and rider, as well as the number of years left to pay for their CareShield Life and ElderShield Supplements, if applicable.
