I was notified that the total CPF contributions received have exceeded the CPF Annual Limit of $37,740, and the excess CPF contributions will be refunded to my employer. When should my employer return my share of excess CPF contributions?
Generally, the refund of the excess contributions will be processed and paid to your employer within 10 days after you are first notified of the impending refund unless further assessment is required.
We will notify you and your employer after the refund is successfully processed. Your employer is required to compute and return your share of the excess CPF contributions, if any, after receiving the notification.
You should contact your employer directly regarding the refund.
