You can only save up to your applicable Basic Healthcare Sum (BHS) in your MediSave Account (MA). It is the maximum amount you can have in your MediSave Account (MA). The BHS is designed to cover your basic subsidised healthcare needs in old age and to prevent excessive accumulation of funds in your MediSave Account.
