If I do not have my cohort’s Basic Healthcare Sum when I reach my Payout Eligibility Age and I intend to start receiving my retirement payouts, do I need to top up my MediSave Account?

You will not need to top up your MediSave Account to the Basic Healthcare Sum to receive your retirement payouts. The Basic Healthcare Sum is the estimated savings you need in your MediSave Account for your basic subsidised healthcare needs in old age. It is the maximum amount you can have in your MediSave Account.
