What should I do if my platform operator did not pay me the correct amount of earnings and CPF contributions?
The Platform Workers Act requires your platform operator to provide you with an itemised earnings slip, which will include any deductions from your earnings. You should verify the CPF paid as declared by your platform operator against the deductions shown in your earnings slip.
If there are any discrepancies or if you have any clarifications, please approach your platform operator immediately so that any errors can be rectified early while documentary evidence is fresh. Your platform operator is expected to self-rectify any errors immediately.
If you were not paid the right amount of earnings, you should approach your union if your platform operator is unionised or if you are a union member for advice. If you are not a union member, you could approach the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (TADM) for advice.
Once TADM has concluded assessing your claims and determined the earnings due to you, you can lodge a report with CPF Board. The Board will compute the CPF contributions payable.
