Would I have duplicate coverage if I buy an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) as I am covered under MediShield Life now?
There is no duplication in coverage. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are automatically covered under MediShield Life, for no matter how long you live. You will continue to be able to tap on MediShield Life benefits when you buy an IP because Integrated Shield Plan (IP) comprises both your MediShield Life component and the additional private insurance component.
